We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, test, and maintain software components for desktop applications using C#, WPF, and .NETDevelop and enhance graphical user interfaces (GUI) for electronic test and measurement software productsCollaborate with hardware engineers to develop driver software and instrument control interfacesParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: requirements, architecture, design, coding, testing, and releaseApply Agile/Scrum methodologies; contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesWrite comprehensive unit tests and participate in automated regression testing to ensure software qualityPerform design and code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive feedbackTroubleshoot, reproduce, and resolve defects reported internally and by customersContribute to continuous improvement of development tools, processes, and best practicesDocument software designs, APIs, and procedures using Confluence and other team toolsStay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to software engineering and test & measurementQualificationsBS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent discipline6+ years of professional software development experience in C# / .NETExperience with WPF, Blazor, and other .NET desktop UI frameworksFamiliarity with software licensing, entitlement, and delivery systemsExperience developing software for test and measurement, industrial automation, or scientific instrumentationKnowledge of VISA, SCPI, and IVI instrument control standardsExperience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS) and RESTful API designProficiency with Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, SourceTreeProficiency with software release pipeline tools: Black Duck Polaris, Dotfuscator, InstallShield, Jenkins, ArtifactoryUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience with version control systems, particularly GitExperience with automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)Familiarity with C++ for interfacing with lower-level instrument librariesUnderstanding of electrical engineering principles and electronic test equipmentProven experience developing and shipping desktop applicationsCareers Privacy Statement Keysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Santa Rosa, CA Pay Range: MIN $122,580.00 - MAX $199,340.00Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by regionUS Employees May Be Eligible For The Following BenefitsMedical, dental and visionHealth Savings AccountHealth Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsLife, Accident, Disability insuranceBusiness Travel Accident and Business Travel Health401(k) PlanFlexible Time Off, Paid HolidaysPaid Family LeaveDiscounts, PerksTuition ReimbursementAdoption AssistanceESPP (Employee Stock Purchase Plan)
