RieLes Group seeks to foster a relationship with each employee and our business partners.Pain Management RNWalter Reed National Military Medical Center8901 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20889Full timeMonday to FridayDay Shift: working 4 (10 hr shifts) day shiftsPay $44-47 per hour, depending on experienceSpecific Duties and Tasks include, but may not be limited to:Providing pain management services for assigned patientsPerforming medication education and assessing for medication changesCollaborating with the case manager, RN, and physicians to manage the care planDocumenting and maintaining records of interactions with patients and their health care teams in a timely mannerFollowing established clinical protocols/guidelines and providing appropriate patient instructionsTracking patients, patients’ needs, and referralsResolving any issues and contacting appropriate parties for follow-upParticipating in quality record reviews as requestedMaintaining a nursing knowledge base to be current with accepted community standards and best practicesFollowing established patient education guidesQualifications:Must be a graduate of an accredited community college, junior college, college, university, or vocational nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies: The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)Possess a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice medicine in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.Be certified by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Be certified by the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare ProvidersExperience:Must possess at least 3 years of experience working with pain management or a related fieldHave been continuously employed for a minimum of 1 year, as a registered nurse (RN) in a hospital or clinical settingMinimum of 1 year of full-time experience as a clinic nurse within the last 3 years, preferably in the Pain ClinicKnowledge of a wide range of medical disorders/conditions, diagnostic studies, and treatments related to the prevention and treatment of Chronic and Acute Pain is desirableShall be able to read, write, speak, and understand English well enough to effectively communicate with all patients and other health care providersPossesses exemplary customer service and communication skills to communicate efficiently with an interdisciplinary teamPlease send me your most updated resume to
