Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with ARRT(T) certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience for a hospital Radiation Therapy department in Concord, NC.Job Details• Work in a hospital Radiation Therapy department,• Treats all oncology diagnoses using IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D treatment modalities,• Average patient volume of 30-45 patients per day,• Equipped with 2 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators,• Uses Epic and Aria for electronic medical records; Epic experience required,• 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM,• No weekend or on-call requirements,• No floating required,Job Requirements• Active ARRT(T) certification required; NC license required if applicable,• Current BLS certification required,• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Therapeutic Radiology,• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Radiation Therapy, with most recent experience within the last year,• Ambulatory and oncology radiation therapy experience required,• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration,• 1 professional reference dated within the past year required, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN,Additional Information• Perform radiation therapy treatments using advanced modalities including IMRT, SBRT, SRS, HDR, and 3D,• Chief RT is on-site for departmental support,• RT students rotate through the department,• Departmental orientation provided,• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays,• Black scrubs required,• Free employee parking available on-site,• Open to first-time travelers,• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted,• Former employees of any AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year following a permanent position before being considered
