Regional Head of Strategic Broker Management

Steer the Broker Manager team to achieve portfolio targets through managing brokers as well as acquisition of new customers and renewal of existing customer relationships. His/her main role is to create business growth (top line development), profitability and quality of portfolio, customer satisfaction (NPS) and retention and achievement of service levels per segment.Key Responsibilities and DutiesGovern commercial underwriting and distribution activity for Broker Management team Review and actively monitor policies underwritten across the Region to ensure compliance with Regional and Group Commercial Underwriting standards and guidelines Responsible for commercial underwriting, portfolio management and sales training of Broker Managers Ensure EH technical underwriting standards are upheld to ensure long-term profitability and quality of customer portfolioFacilitate business development by providing Strategic Brokers with support and solutions within the framework of Commercial Underwriting standards Manage, develop and maintain key broker and customer relationships Segment broker’s statuses based upon Regional and Group metrics as well as the identification and seamless transition of select specialty brokers to Strategic Broker status. Develop and execute strategic marketing plans and target account plans for the Region Identify cross- and up-selling opportunities within existing portfolioPartner with cross-functional teams including DSF, commercial underwriting, XoL/Non-Can, WA, risk underwriting, compliance, market management, policy administration, claims and distribution to ensure customer needs are met. High level of interaction with Risk Underwriting to maximize approvals for new and existing policyholders. High level of interaction with the XoL/Non-Can team ensuring we offer the best solution to position EH to winRequired Qualifications And SkillsBachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred.7 to 10 years of short term trade credit commercial underwriting or sales experienceUnderstanding of risk underwriting and financial statement analysis preferredAbility to assist in the closing of new and renewal business opportunitiesAbility to build strong relationships with broker producers and principals to ensure new business and renewal production goals are met Market knowledge:-- Thought leader and expert in trade credit insurance industry-- Build strong and trusting ties with brokers, market participants and opinion leaders-- Generate new business opportunities and convert them into profitable long-term relationshipsInternal leadership behavior:-- Build , train and motivate local teams-- Attract and retain high potential employeesExternal leadership behavior:-- Utilize insightful and consultative sales approach and be viewed as trusted advisor for customers and broker partners-- Represent company at industry eventsBusiness expertise:-- Maintain proper balance between commercial and u/w objectives to ensure profitable growth-- Build strong relationships with broker producers, principals and customers-- Understanding of risk underwriting and financial statement analysis-- Understanding of P&L items and their effect on corporate decision makingInterpersonal skills:-- Partner with cross functional EH teams-- Convince brokers/customers in negotiationsLooking for candidates that possess a basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and are enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes.(Generative) Artificial Intelligence or GenAI or AIData Analysis(Microsoft) CopilotChatGPTCompensation Range$200,000 - $275,000Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience, skills for the role, and location.
