Project Manager I

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Project Manager I with our large power and utilities client in Saint Petersburg, FL. This is an 8-month contract with a potential for extension.Pay: $53.00 - $63.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.Description:Seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of a plant retirement project at the facility in St. Petersburg, FL. This role will oversee field construction activities, contractor performance, and full project lifecycle delivery.Key Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of plant retirement project executionManage field construction activities and contractor oversightCoordinate with internal and external stakeholdersProvide regular project reporting and status updatesMonitor EHS compliance and address site incidentsEnsure contractor adherence to contractual requirementsRequired Qualifications:10+ years of project management experience in construction or industrial environmentsStrong background in field construction oversightExperience managing large-scale infrastructure or demolition-related projectsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with plant retirement or RRE projects (Florida preferred)Electrical or power generation backgroundBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent experienceWork Environment:Fully onsite in St. Petersburg, FL Combination of field and onsite office workPrimary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
