UX Systems Designer

Position: UX Systems Designer Location: San Jose, CA - Remote Duration: 6 month contract Pay: $65/hr.+ Overview:Insight Global is seeking a UX Designer with strong design systems expertise to support scalable, developer‑ready UI across multiple platforms. This role focuses on building and maintaining a robust Figma design system, translating design decisions into reusable tokens and specifications, and ensuring designs are optimized for AI‑assisted and engineering workflows. Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and scale a comprehensive Figma design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across platforms, including web, mobile, Android, tvOS, browsers, and Smart TV environmentsTranslate visual designs into design tokens and structured specifications that support AI‑assisted development and efficient engineering handoffCreate developer‑ready design artifacts, including tokens, components, variants, auto layout rules, and constraintsDesign responsive web and mobile application experiences using existing product features, with a strong focus on usability and clarityApply modern UI/UX best practices to improve user experience while maintaining alignment with system standardsCollaborate closely with engineering partners to ensure designs are technically feasible and buildable Required Skills & Experience:Strong experience working with Figma design systems, including token‑based workflowsProven ability to create scalable, reusable components and maintain design consistency across platformsHands‑on experience producing developer‑ready specs for front‑end implementationSolid understanding of front‑end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, responsive behavior) sufficient to design within real technical constraintsStrong UX judgment with attention to usability, accessibility, and responsive design Nice to Have:Experience supporting multi‑platform products beyond standard web and mobile (e.g., TV, embedded, or large‑screen interfaces)Familiarity with AI‑assisted development workflows or design‑to‑code pipelines
