This is a full-time position - temp-to-hire!Pay Rate: $20 / HRHours / Schedule: 1stShift – Monday – Friday from 7:00AM - 3:30PMJob Description:Perform mechanical and/or electro-mechanical assembly of components, subassemblies, and final products according to blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating proceduresUse hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment to assemble parts to exact specifications. Ensure assemblies meet dimensional and functional requirementsFollow established assembly sequences, safety protocols, and quality guidelines to produce high-quality, consistent outputIdentify, report, and correct basic assembly errors or material discrepancies during the build processRead and interpret assembly drawings, bills of material (BOMs), and work orders to determine required components and assembly stepsMaintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any deviations from standard processesAssist with packaging, labeling, and final inspection of finished goods as neededKeep work area clean and organized; follow all safety standards and company policiesRequirements:1–2 years of experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop settingAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructionsFamiliarity with hand and power tools used in assembly processesMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or perform repetitive tasks for extended periodsBasic math skills and attention to detail requiredGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelySkills & Experience:Assemble parts and components with precision and consistencyPerform basic inspections using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, rulers, gauges)Maintain accurate assembly and production documentationRecognize and report nonconforming materials, missing components, or deviations from standard buildsWork collaboratively with quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve build issuesSupport continuous improvement efforts to streamline assembly processes and reduce defectsIf you are interested in this position and you meet the requirements, please apply with an updated resume!Pay Details: $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
