Imagine your future with us.ABOUT THIS ROLEAudible's Content team is looking for a smart, passionate, book and podcast-obsessed editor to support the ongoing curation needs of the editorial team and to oversee and grow the written interview program. The Senior Editor is expected to define the goals and strategy of the program, ensuring that they ladder up to the overall goals of both the larger department and the business. They will also work cross-functionally with other partner teams on the execution of the program (where appropriate), advocate for and secure featured placement for their launches, create efficient and effective best practices, and scale the program as necessary across our Global marketplaces. The Senior Editor understands how to measure the success of their program, grow the program, and report on and share results. The role also requires being an active participant in other Editorial programs, such as Editors Select and Best of the Year, lending subject matter and genre expertise where appropriate.ABOUT THE TEAMOur content team focuses on creating incredible listening experiences. Our in-house publishing team is made up of passionate individuals who are full of fresh ideas and innovative approaches that enable us to not only share classic tales with our audiences worldwide, but create them, too.As a Senior Editor, you will...- Oversee Editorial's written interview program, identifying authors to interview each season, and working with the publisher relations team to secure the interviews- Provide Editorial feedback on interview questions, and work with other members of the Editorial team to ensure that the interview is both compelling and audio-forward- Shepherd the production of the interviews, and get them localized to marketplaces as appropriate- Deliver on results of the program, and create and oversee the strategy for the program's growth (particularly in our global marketplaces)- Offer subject-matter expertise on various genres- Conceive, pitch, create, and edit content for our blog designed to help our listeners find their next great listenABOUT AUDIBLEAudible is the leading producer and provider of audio storytelling. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
