The organization is an equal-opportunity employer with a culture centered on innovation, learning, and professional growth.Position: Feature Assurance EngineerLocation: Dearborn, MIDuration: 6–12 Months ContractKey Responsibilities:• Develop and execute feature validation plans covering functional, performance, safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.• Coordinate validation activities across software, hardware, and testing teams.• Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive issue resolution through JIRA.• Lead feature sign-off activities and ensure compliance with program milestones.• Support vehicle launch activities and resolve customer-reported feature issues.• Create validation reports, dashboards, and status updates for engineering leadership.• Develop negative test cases, stress testing scenarios, and feature assurance procedures.Required Qualifications:• BS or MS in Engineering.• 3+ years of automotive industry experience.• Strong background in validation, verification, testing, or quality assurance of vehicle features.• Experience with JIRA, defect tracking, issue triage, and root cause analysis.• Experience with at least one of the following systems:Battery Management & ChargingClimate Control (HVAC)Infotainment or Instrument ClustersPowertrain or DrivelineConnectivityDigital KeysEnclosuresSeats & RestraintsPreferred Skills:• Vehicle testing, system validation, or feature validation experience.• HiL, CAN, diagnostics, and automotive communication protocols.• Functional Safety and Cybersecurity validation exposure.If this opportunity aligns with your background and interests, please reply with your updated resume and a convenient time to discuss.
