Cloud Engineer with Security Clearance

What you'll do * Build, install, configure, and sustain C2 virtual machine (VM) systems in dev/test/prodSupport cybersecurity monitoring, assess vulnerabilities, and drive remediation to closureWrite automation code to deploy/configure apps and infrastructure (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell)Deploy and support Windows & Linux servers, containerized apps, and Kubernetes environmentsConfigure AWS services for compute, storage, networking, and security (manual + automated)Set up and tune observability using CloudWatch Logs, Metrics, and AlertsTroubleshoot issues across VMs, cloud configurations, and CI/CD automation pipelinesMaintain clear technical documentation and collaborate with admins, developers, managers, and auditors What you'll bring (must-haves) * Bachelor's + 9 years OR Master's + 7 years (certs may substitute; additional experience may substitute for degree)8+ years building/maintaining software systemsCompTIA Security+ * Strong Windows Server and Linux experienceHands-on system installation, configuration, and maintenanceAutomation experience with Terraform, Ansible, and/or PowerShellWorking knowledge of DoD cybersecurity controls, scanning, and remediation processesFamiliarity with AWS, GitLab/GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, and Agile (Scrum/Kanban)Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Why this roleYou'll be a key player in keeping mission-critical systems secure, automated, observable, and reliable—while partnering with a solid technical team that values clean execution and practical problem-solving.
