Job DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Silverdale, Washington.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Cath Lab TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Days, 4x10hrsHours: 40 hrs/wkStart Date: Mar 2, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 3DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab experience and required certifications for a dynamic acute care setting.DetailsWork in a busy cardiac catheterization lab with 6 suites handling 25-30 cases per dayProcedures include left and right heart caths, complex PCI, Impella and IABP, electrophysiology, structural heart (TAVR, Watchman), and interventional radiology/peripheral vascular casesAdvanced technology and equipment including EPIC EMR, MACLAB, PYXIS, GE IMAGING, CARTO, and ABBOTT EPShift options include 3x12-hour days (0630-1900) or 4x10-hour days (0630-1700); schedule finalized during manager interviewCall requirement is average 1-2 days per week and one weekend per month with a 30-minute response time; on-call only for holidaysNo floating required except for emergency responseDedicated team with 14 technologists and 7 RNs, with 24/7 physician, RT, and pharmacy supportUses hospital-issued surgical attire as standard scrub uniformRequirementsMinimum 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab experienceActive ARRT or RCIS certification requiredCurrent WA DOH CVIS or RT license required; license required if applicableActive BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatoryExperience with EPIC EMR and the listed lab-specific equipment preferredRadiation badge required prior to start; must be supplied by the technologistDriver's license copy required for considerationMust provide two professional references: one supervisor from the past 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the last 3 yearsAdditional InformationMain duties include assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-volume, multimodality labQuick unit orientation provided for competent technologistsTeam-oriented and welcoming environment in a recently expanded, state-of-the-art facilityOn-call team coverage for holidaysCritical care patients supported by staff during procedures onlyHospital-issued surgical attire provided for all staffReturning staff must not have been directly employed at affiliated facilities within the past yearAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-672663.
