This is a hands on role where you will be embedded in client environments, partnering directly with hiring managers and production teams to build high performing workforces.You will serve as the recruiting expert for technical talent, making hiring decisions, engaging onsite, and building long term relationships that drive retention and success. If you enjoy being in the field, understanding how work gets done, and connecting great people to meaningful careers, this role is for you.What You’ll DoRecruit, screen, and place skilled trades, aerospace, and technical talent including mechanics, avionics, structures, and engineering support rolesManage full cycle recruiting from sourcing and screening through offer, negotiation, and onboardingBuild strong pipelines through networking, referrals, military transition programs, and creative sourcing strategiesMaintain a consistent onsite presence to observe roles, support teammates, and build client trustPartner with Business Managers, Unit Leaders, and clients to align recruiting with production and workforce needsConduct in depth interviews to evaluate technical skills, safety awareness, and cultural fitEnsure compliance with industry standards including FAA, DOT, and safety regulations where applicableMaintain accurate documentation and track performance against recruiting metrics and scorecardsServe as a trusted resource for clients, candidates, and internal teamsIdeal Candidate1 year of experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition preferredExperience recruiting skilled trades, aerospace, aviation, or technical roles preferredStrong ability to build relationships with clients, managers, and production teamsComfortable working onsite in manufacturing, industrial, or technical environmentsConfident decision maker with strong problem solving and organizational skillsProficiency in ATS systems, recruiting tools, and standard office softwareHigh school diploma required, additional technical or recruiting certifications are a plusWhy Join Us?At Ōnin Aerospace, you will play a direct role in supporting safety, compliance, and mission critical operations.
