Role: Oracle APEX SpecialistLocation: USA -REMOTEDuration : Long termPosition SummaryThe Oracle APEX Specialist will be responsible for migrating, configuring, administering, and optimizing Oracle APEX applications within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role requires deep expertise in Oracle APEX 24.2, ORDS, web server architecture, and application migration methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Oracle APEX application migration activities to OCI environments.Install, configure, upgrade, and administer Oracle APEX 24.2 environments.Configure and manage Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).Design and support Tomcat and Apache web server architectures supporting APEX deployments.Perform application compatibility assessments and migration planning.Troubleshoot APEX application, ORDS, and web server issues.Implement security best practices and performance optimization strategies.Coordinate testing, validation, and production deployment activities.Create technical documentation and operational procedures.Collaborate with application owners, DBAs, and cloud architects during migration projects.Required QualificationsExtensive experience administering Oracle APEX environments.Strong expertise with Oracle APEX 24.2.Hands-on experience with ORDS deployment and administration.Experience with Apache HTTP Server and Tomcat architectures.Proven experience migrating Oracle APEX applications between environments.Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning capabilities.Preferred QualificationsOCI experience and certifications.Experience with Oracle Database 19c and EBS integrations.Knowledge of cloud security and compliance requirements.
