Staff Accountant II, Merchandise Accounting-1

About The RoleTotal Wine and More is seeking a Staff Accountant II, Merchandise Accounting to join our Merchandising Accounting Team in our Bethesda, MD Office. In this role, you will review invoices for accuracy and proper coding and enter them into an automated accounting system for payment processing. You will review vendor statements, resolve payment discrepancies, and respond to vendors inquiries. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the Supply Chain team to process freight payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Complete month end journal entries and submit corresponding monthly reconciliations.
