Security Guard

Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. A&R Police Protection Service is a leader in security speciaizing in communication, team building, and conflict resolution. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with the ability to respond effectively to incidents while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities - Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. - Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure continuous monitoring of premises. - Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid and CPR when necessary. - Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and ensure the safety of all individuals on site. - Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks. - Document incidents and prepare detailed reports on security-related matters. - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies. - Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate situations effectively. - Implement loss prevention techniques to minimize theft and damage to property. Qualifications - Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. - Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. - Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and alarm systems is a plus. - Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. - Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques. - Military background or training is an advantage but not mandatory. - Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
