In this role, you’ll lead day-to-day jobsite operations—coordinating trades, driving schedule, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.You’ll partner closely with Project Managers, field teams, and subcontractors to turn plans into reality, while taking ownership of field execution and problem-solving in real time.If you’re a hands-on leader who thrives in the field and takes pride in delivering exceptional results, this is an opportunity to make a direct impact on every project you lead..ResponsibilitiesManages and directs all job site activities from start to finish related to the project executionOversees self-perform labor crews and subcontractor work performed to meet the completion of the projectCommunicates daily with job foreman and craftsman to ensure expected productionEnsures all project goals are accomplished according to specifications and that they are on time and within budgetHolds weekly subcontractor meetings at the jobsite and reviews and manages all trades for schedule performance, safety compliance, and quality controlReviews R.F.I. status, delays, additional work requirements, etc.Communicates directly with subcontractors to ensure prompt and accurate drawingsCommunicates with Project Manager and team on all project related issues, changes, or delaysAssists the Project Manager and team by conducting closeout meetings 30 days prior to completion dateCommunicates with Owners and Public entities and represents Martin Harris Construction’s best interestDevelops plans and implements strategies to complete projects on or ahead of schedule and at or under budgetMaintains and implements the pre-established guidelines necessary to perform of the required duties of the positionTracks self-performed work production and stays within budgetPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsAt least five years of experience in this position with a Commercial General Contractor requiredDesired project experience includes, but is not limited to: Industrial / Big-Box / Tilt-Up, Office, Education, Retail, Aviation, Medical, Multi-Family, Federal/Municipal, Hotel/Timeshare, Hospitality/Casino, Sports/Recreation, Parking Structures, or Tenant Improvement/RenovationsExperience in scheduling and coordinating and scheduling of subcontractors requiredExpereince with Procore desiredStrong knowledge of self-perform concrete work desiredMay be required to work onsite of an active construction project that entails a job trailer setting and typical noises from an active construction projectBenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) with company matchParental LeavePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysLong-term and Short-term Disability InsuranceSupplemental InsuranceAdditional Job InformationInterested applicants must submit their resume for consideration using our applicant tracking system.
