EHS Supervisor

Department: Environment, Health, and SafetyLocation: SMCDescriptionFII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an EHS Supervisor to oversee environmental, health, and safety programs and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.The EHS Supervisor will lead daily EHS operations, support compliance initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance, and assist this Environmental, Health, and Safety Department as needed.ResponsibilitiesOversee and enforce environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programsEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local/state regulatory requirementsConduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across production and facility areasInvestigate incidents, near misses, and injuries; identify root causes and implement corrective actionsMaintain and track EHS metrics, including incident rates, corrective actions, and compliance activitiesLead and support safety training programs, including new hire orientation and ongoing employee trainingCollaborate with Production, Engineering, Facilities, and HR to promote a strong safety cultureIdentify hazards and implement controls to reduce workplace risks and environmental impactSupport emergency response planning, drills, and incident preparedness activitiesMaintain documentation for regulatory reporting, inspections, and internal auditsEnsure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and wasteMonitor use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with safety standardsAssist in the development and continuous improvement of EHS policies and proceduresSupport workers’ compensation case management and return-to-work programs as neededServe as a point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections or inquiriesOther Duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred3+ years of experience in EHS, safety, or environmental compliance in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry safety standardsExperience conducting audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysisExcellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levelsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 standards preferredAbility to stand, walk, and work in a production environment for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsReasons you should work for us:Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.Basic life insurance and short-term disability coverage provided by employer.Supplemental life insurance and long-term disability coverage options available.401K with employer contribution.Personal, Vacation, and Holiday paid time off for all full-time employees.Onsite Aurora Health & Wellness Center available for all employees.Employees are continuously encouraged to learn and grow their careers in smart manufacturing.
