Statement: Protection, Responsibility, Integrity, Dedication and Employee Excellence.The Phoenix Police Department is seeking a Police Property Technicians coordinate the receipt, storage, and release of property and evidence impounded by the Police Department or other law enforcement agencies. Responsibilities include providing customer service to citizens and law enforcement personnel and safeguarding evidence through the chain of custody with the highest degree of integrity. This is done through the tracking and retrieval of items in an efficient, secure, and accurate manner utilizing the proper methods, equipment and technology to maintain the integrity of the items entrusted in the department's care. Work is conducted in a 60,000-sq. ft. high security warehouse containing approximately 2.1 million pieces of evidence and processes over 50,000 items monthly.Work Location: 100 E Elwood St., Property Management BureauWork schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMIDEAL CANDIDATEBasic computer skills.SALARYPay Range: $20.51 to $31.82 per hour.Hiring Range: $20.51 to $30.31 per hour.Pay Range ExplanationPay range is the entire compensation range for the position classification.Hiring range is an estimate of where you can receive an offer. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.
