JOB TITLE: Early Childhood Developmental Intervention SpecialistJOB SUMMARY: The Developmental Intervention Specialist plays a key role in supporting the developmental progress of children enrolled in Head Start and Early Head Start programs. This position is responsible for identifying and addressing developmental delays or challenges, providing targeted interventions, and collaborating with families and staff to support the development of children. The specialist works directly with children and staff to implement strategies and best practices that support individual developmental needs.Job QualificationsBachelor’s Degree with Certification for working with children with Disabilities required.Master’s Degree with Certification for working with children with Disabilities preferred.Preferred 3-5 years teaching experience in the field of Special Education.Compensation: $55,792 - $71,354 Based on Education and ExperienceMinimum being BA degree with 0 years of Experience and Max being MA degree with 10 years of experience.Benefits: State Health Insurance, State Pension, 100% Tuition covered for IECE or ECE degree, paid parental leave, paid sick and annual leave.
