The LoopRoots Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to supporting justice-impacted families through transportation, therapy, and technology-driven programs. Our mission is to remove the physical, financial, and emotional barriers that prevent families from maintaining meaningful connections with incarcerated loved ones, accessing mental health care, or navigating reentry. All of our programs are offered without discrimination to build a truly supportive ecosystem for families across the U.S.Position TitleYouth Reentry and Prevention Program Coordinator (Volunteer, Remote)OrganizationLoopRoots FoundationLocationRemote (U.S.-based; future expansion support across multiple states)Commitment20–25 hours per week (Volunteer); potential to transition into a paid role based on funding and performance.Position OverviewLoopRoots Foundation is seeking a Youth Reentry and Prevention Program Coordinator to support the development and implementation of a youth-focused program serving youth with incarcerated parents, youth returning from juvenile detention, and youth at risk of justice system involvement. This role will contribute to building a structured program focused on prevention, stability, and long-term success, while aligning with LoopRoots' broader support ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram DevelopmentAssist in designing and implementing the LoopYouth program structureSupport creation of SOPs, onboarding materials, and youth engagement workflowsContribute to curriculum development including life skills, financial literacy, emotional wellness, and violence preventionYouth Engagement and SupportAssist with outreach to youth and familiesSupport intake and onboarding of program participantsMaintain communication and follow-ups with participantsHelp ensure a safe and supportive virtual environmentPartnerships and Community OutreachSupport outreach to schools, juvenile programs, community organizations, and local partnersAssist in identifying mentorship and program collaboration opportunitiesProgram OperationsTrack participant engagement and progressAssist with reporting and program metricsCollaborate with internal teams supporting housing, workforce, transportation, and wellness initiativesPreferred QualificationsBackground or coursework in social work, criminal justice, psychology, education, or related fieldExperience working with youth, at-risk populations, or justice-involved individuals preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentPassion for community impact and youth developmentGrowth OpportunityOpportunity to grow into a leadership role as the program expands.
