Now we’re growing — and this is where YOU come in.What This Role Actually Is (And Isn’t)This is an onsite, inbound technical sales role — not field sales.You will:Work from our Pittsburgh officeManage incoming customer and distributor opportunitiesReview technical requirementsConsult with customers and engineersDeliver accurate quotes and solutionsYou will not:Go door-to-doorCold call in the fieldTravel extensivelyThis role is highly transactional, consultative, and relationship-driven, focused on helping customers select the right technical solution quickly and effectively.Why You’ll Love Working HereThe Technical Sales Representative is a key role at KOBOLD. You’ll join a collaborative team where every voice matters and where you can grow your technical and commercial expertise.In this role, you will:Manage inbound sales opportunities from inquiry through quoteCollaborate with customers to understand application needsUse technical knowledge to recommend appropriate solutionsPartner with engineers to interpret requirementsCoordinate with vendors on product details, pricing, and delivery timelinesBuild strong relationships with customers and distributorsDevelop deep knowledge of our products, processes, and applicationsYou’ll use both your technical curiosity and communication skills every day.What You BringTechnical Curiosity + Sales MindsetYou enjoy understanding how things work and helping others solve problems.
