Supply Planner

Supply PlannerApex Systems is looking to hire a FULLY ONSITE Supply Planner for our client based out of Greensboro, NC.This assignment is anticipated to be a 6 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment. This will also have a first-shift MondayFriday schedule.Responsibilities:Support supply planning activities by coordinating between warehouse operations, internal stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure product availability in the right quantities and timelines.Conduct basic analysis of inventory levels, supply variances, and assortment data to monitor performance and identify issues.Assist in tracking supply chain deviations and escalating concerns as needed.Maintain and update internal contract information using predetermined data sources, ensuring accuracy and timely entry.Perform administrative tasks to support daily supply chain operations.Collaborate with planning teams to gain exposure to broader supply planning functions as skills develop.Support continuous improvement efforts, including assisting with simple automation or process-enhancement tasks.Explain relevant procedures, policies, and basic supply concepts to internal partners as needed.Experience:2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, operations support, or related administrative roles.Understanding of supply chain fundamentals through coursework or internship experience is preferred.Ability to work under close supervision with a willingness to learn and grow into more complex responsibilities.Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data.Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.Basic analytical skills with the ability to identify straightforward issues and follow established processes.Why Work for Apex Systems:We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, competitive pay ratesHealth/Medical benefits, Life Insurance, 401k, Employee Stock Purchase ProgramDiscounts to most major certification programs, access to multiple technical training platforms and programsAbout Apex Systems:At Apex Systems, we value integrity, respect, and excellence, and we are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and consultants alike.
