We serve diverse populations, including underserved and vulnerable groups, and are committed to promoting whole-person wellness through integrated primary medical and behavioral health services.We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The Therapist will provide individual, couples, and family counseling services to clients across the lifespan. This role includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment, crisis intervention, and collaboration with medical and support staff to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.Key Responsibilities:Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plansProvide individual, couples, and family therapyDiagnose mental health conditions in accordance with DSM-5-TR criteriaMaintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as neededCollaborate with primary care providers and other team members in an integrated care modelParticipate in case conferences, team meetings, supervision, and peer/chart reviewsSupport care coordination and referrals to community resourcesComply with all ethical, legal, and regulatory requirementsQualifications:Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy RequiredCurrent licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) or eligibility and active pursuit of licensure, if applicable RequiredComfortable and conversant communication skills in Spanish and English RequiredComfortable working with a range of individuals from different ages (children, teenagers, adults), diagnostic conditions, and other diverse populationsKnowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment modalitiesExperience working with individuals experiencing substance use disordersStrong documentation and organization skillsSkills and Competencies:Cultural humility and commitment to equityStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamCrisis management and de-escalation skillsProficiency with EMR systemsBenefits:Competitive salaryFlexible scheduleAffordable health, dental, and vision insurance (company pays 80%)Generous paid time off and 11 paid holidaysRetirement plan with employer contribution and matchContinuing education supportMCHC is a Patient Centered Medical Home.
