The Utility Associateis responsible for supporting the warehouse maintenance and safety.Responsibilities Of a Utility Associate IncludesEnsuring all trash cans in the warehouse are emptied during and end of the shift daily.Ensure all cardboard is picked up in the warehouse and thrown away in the compactor.Ensure daily stapps or trash on the floor in the warehouse is cleaned up during and at the end of the shift.Maintain empty pallets in the warehouseCutting plastic off pallets and discardingMaintain cardboard gaylords in the warehouse.Check & sign off on eye wash stations weeklyProperly store office/canteen suppliesWater forklift batteriesSign off on fire extinguishers monthly on the 15thAny other assigned duties given by managementFollow all safety protocols when operating the cardboard machinePractice housekeeping inside the warehouse by following the 5S standards.Confirm that equipment and materials are used correctly. Report and/or rectify potentially unsafe conditions.Job Requirements Of a Utility AssociateHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious forklift experience preferredManual & electric pallet jack experience preferredGood verbal and written communication abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast paced environmentAbility to lift up to 50lbs continuouslyEngaging in bending, stooping, or walking materials between different locationsFor immediate consideration, our Greenville Branch can be called at 864-509-6920.
