Job Title: IT Desktop Support Technician Location: 14851 Deveau Pl Minnetonka, MN 55345, USA Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Work Mode: Onsite Job Overview We are seeking an experiencedIT Desktop Support Technicianto provideonsite IT infrastructure and end-user support . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inhardware/software troubleshooting, desk-side support, and network fundamentals , along with excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities Providedesk-side support and PC break/fix services Troubleshoothardware, software, and operating system issues Install, configure, and supportdesktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals Performdesktop imaging and application installation Providesmart hands supportfor IT and networking equipment Troubleshootnetwork connectivity and cabling issues SupportLAN/WAN environments and basic networking tasks Manage and resolve incidents usingticketing tools (ServiceNow / Remedy) Performroot cause analysis and problem management Ensure timely resolution of issues while meeting SLA requirements Technical Requirements Minimum3+ years of IT infrastructure field support experience Strong knowledge of: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, RDP Windows OS (Mac/Linux preferred) Experience with: Desktop imaging and application support Printer and peripheral troubleshooting Network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) Ability to handlehardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Experience withend-user network cabling issues Smart Hands Support Hands-on support for: Monitors, keyboards, mice Printers, scanners, fax machines Routers, switches, firewalls Racks, cabinets, and patch panels Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree in Electronics or related field CompTIA A+ Certification(preferred) Vendor certifications (Dell, Lenovo, etc.) are a plus Non-Technical Skills Strongcommunication and customer handling skills Ability to workindependently and in a team environment Proactive, result-oriented mindset Strongproblem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Additional Requirements Ability tolift/move equipment up to 50 lbs Flexible to workvaried schedules if required
