Financial System ConsultantLocation: Jackson, MS Duration: 12+ Months Job Description Looking for an experienced professional with a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment to meet customer needs. Demonstrates expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions on moderately complex configurations. Effectively consults with management. Participate in business development activities. Develop detailed solutions for involved projects. Requires an individual to consult and design a centralized banking module for the project. This resource will be assisting with design, functionality, and integration with the state's financial system. Major ResponsibilitiesAdvise on centralized banking concepts and processes. Assist with design and system functionality. Ensure financial best practice standards are present in the design. Assist with system financial reporting requirements and design. Document preparation. Plan, organize, and lead meetings when required; and -Other IT-related tasks as agreed upon by the parties.
