Gift Shop Associate

The Role: Artistry in ServiceAs a Gift Shop Associate, you are a brand ambassador. You aren't just "ringing up items"-you are providing expert recommendations, sharing local knowledge, and ensuring that every guest's journey is elevated by their visit to your shop.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The Chamonix Welcome: Greet every guest with a genuine smile and a warm, proactive welcome.Curated Selling: Act as a personal shopper by identifying guest needs and suggesting the perfect memento or essential.Luxury Presentation: Efficiently process transactions while engaging in sophisticated conversation and meticulously wrapping purchases to our 4-star standard.Financial Stewardship: Manage currency and point-of-sale operations with accuracy and efficiency.Information Hub: Serve as a resort expert, answering questions about the Gift Shop and the broader Chamonix Resort.Operational Excellence: Maintain a pristine shop environment, process paperwork neatly, and answer phones with a "smile you can hear."Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal safety protocols.RequirementsLicensing: Must possess (or be able to obtain) a valid State of Colorado Gaming License.Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: Previous experience in upscale retail or luxury hospitality is preferred.Communication: Exceptional English verbal skills.Agility: Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 35 lbs.
