FOIA Program Manager
Fully Remote with on site meetings 1-2 times a quarter.
The PM is responsible for managing staffing, schedules, risks, quality control, and communication with the COR and Government leadership. The PM must be fully versed in FOIA processes, lifecycle management, and program execution, and must be able to identify issues early and drive corrective actions.
A Project Manager must oversee all FOIA program activities, ensuring contract deliverables, workflow performance, and system operations meet VA requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree. Degree In/Certifications
Degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Systems, Legal Studies, or related field.
PMP Minimum Experience
Three (3) years managing teams or federal support operations.
One (1) year experience supporting FOIA, records management, privacy programs, or similar compliance functions. Substitution Four (4) years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree. • Demonstrated experience managing FOIA workflows may substitute for formal training or certifications.
Experience managing federal support contracts or operational teams, preferably including FOIA, records, privacy, or compliance work.
Working knowledge of FOIA processes and exemptions, enough to manage quality and workflow without being the SME.
Ability to oversee staff, track performance metrics, maintain schedules, and report status to the COR.
Familiarity with FOIA case management systems (any brand), with the ability to learn VA’s system quickly.
Experience identifying operational risks and coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders.
Strong communication skills to interface with VA leadership and supporting organizations

Pay: $80,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
