Electrical Apprentice

*Job Overview* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic electrical team. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced electricians to gain hands-on experience in both commercial and industrial electrical work, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards. This role is perfect for individuals eager to build a career in electrical trades while contributing to high-quality project outcomes. *Duties* * Assist licensed electricians with electrical wiring, conduit bending, and electrical systems installation on construction sites * Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution * Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks * Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings * Follow NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure compliance and safety * Conduct basic troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering strictly to safety procedures and protocols at all times *Skills* * Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable * Strong understanding of electrical schematic reading, interpretation, and blueprint reading * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, and electrical wiring techniques * Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 compliance and safety protocol adherence * Experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems in construction or industrial environments * Ability to read electrical schematics accurately and interpret technical diagrams * Familiarity with construction site safety practices, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) * Basic knowledge of circuit testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters * Construction experience, including framing carpentry skills when applicable, is a plus Join us as an Electrical Apprentice where your enthusiasm meets opportunity!
