As a Project Engineer for Site Development/Municipal, you will support various Land Development projects on your team.What are the core responsibilities for the role? Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3DProduce accurate and complete project deliverables including technical memoranda, design plans and specifications, and technical reportsAdminister quality assurance for project deliverablesPrepare supporting calculations, construction specifications, and permitting applications in various jurisdictionsPartner with other Horrocks practice leaders to assist on multi-disciplinary project pursuitsMaintain effective communications with clients and project teamsTechnical Reporting and PresentationsConstruction Observation and Coordination with Construction ContractorsQualifications, Skills, and Competencies: Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineeringEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate0-2 years experience in Site Development/Municipal workA self-directed practitioner with time management and project delivery skillsStrong client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levelsTechnical expert with strong team building, writing, and program execution skillsMust be able to work effectively as a team player in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clientsOrganized and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skillsKnowledge in Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, StormCAD, WaterGems, Flowmaster, and HEC-1Why would a candidate want this job?
