Job Title:Registered Nurse - Operating RoomLocation: Aiken, SC 29801Duration:3 months+ (with possible extension)Schedule:6:30 to 17:00Shift Days:4x10 hour shifts, days will vary depending on need.Requirements:Associate degree in Nursing (A.D.N) – Required.A state professional registered nurse license or multi-state compact license is required.BLS is required.At least one year of OR experience is required.Job Description:The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operativeprocedures; department admissions to the operative suite.Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques.Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans.Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team.Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure.Assembles equipment, supplies, and ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available.
