Newcourse Communications, Inc.General Manager of Print and Mail ProductionNashville, TNPosition OverviewNewcourse Communications is seeking a General Manager of Production to lead its regulated print and mail operations serving financial institutions and servicers.This leader will own end-to-end performance across digital and offset printing, inserting, and mailing workflows, with direct accountability for costs, margins, capacity, quality, compliance, on time delivery and customer satisfaction.This is a P&L-impact leadership role.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational & Financial LeadershipOwn production unit economics, margins, and cost structure.Lead daily operating cadence and cross-functional execution.Transition from reactionary to planned operational performance and effectivenessDrive sustained EBITDA improvement.Production, Capacity & Peak ManagementManage high-speed digital, offset, finishing, and mail operations.Build and maintain capacity and demand forecast modelingLead peak-period planning and execution.Maximize utilization, throughput, and redundancy.Workforce & Performance ManagementLead multi-shift production teams and supervisors.Establish productivity standards and performance management systems.Mentor and develop leadership bench and succession plans.Effectively manage labor staffing models, overtime and temporary labor costWorkflow, Systems & AutomationOptimize facility layout, material flow, and WIP controls.Reduce manual processes and rework.Implement real-time operational dashboards.Quality, Compliance & RiskDevelop, implement and own QC standards and audit preparedness across production operations.Ensure operational compliance of document integrity, privacy, and chain-of-custody controls.Lead production defect remediation and root-cause / corrective action analysis.Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity modeling.Vendor and Inventory StrategyManage materials and inventory to achieve cost efficiency and optimize productionManage key production and overflow vendors relationships.Optimize sourcing and working capital.Improve material and logistics cost structures.Qualifications10+ years in high-volume print and mail, manufacturing environments.Experience in a regulatory environment a plus.5+ years in senior operations leadership.Experience with digital and offset printing, inserting, and mail services.Proven track record improving margins, utilization, and quality.Strong financial, analytical, and change management capability.Leadership ProfileData-driven, execution-focused operator.Drives department accountability through use of metrics and establishment of clear employee expectations.Strong talent mentor and communicator.Working ConditionsOn-site executive role.Extended hours during peak cyclesCompensationCompetitive compensation package, including base salary, performance bonus, and potential for long-term incentives.
