The ideal candidate desires a longitudinal relationship with their client, an intra-office collaborative community, and a passion for serving the mental health needs of our community.Responsibilities:Assess, diagnose, manage and treat patientsWrite prescriptions and provide patient education on: prescriptions, ketamine/spravato, TMS, and psychotherapyCoordinate treatment among other medical specialists and therapistsCommunicate with patients, physicians, and other members of the care teamParticipate in continuing education for continuing certification processes for licensure requirementsPerforms counseling within the scope of clinical practiceObtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority per Colorado State Board Medical Examiner regulationsEstablishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with other health care providers as appropriateRequirementsEducation:Master's degree from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse school.Certifications:Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided;Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided;Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration ("DEA") number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe dangerous drugs and controlled substances;Ability to possess and maintain adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy;Comply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations, including, but not limited to registration and use;Possess and maintain all accreditations, certifications, and credentials necessary and appropriate to enable nurse practitioner to perform, and Company to bill for, the Services;Remain a Medicare and Medicaid Provider in the State where healthcare services are provided;Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as thorough knowledge about the various medical processes and procedures;Ability to function well independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ability to work productively and effectively.Reporting to:PMHNPs report to lead PMHNP per location and Chief Medical OfficerQualifications:Licensed to practice in Colorado or eligible for state licensureDEA licenseGraduation from an accredited educational program for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and successful completion of certificationAll certifications and licenses required must be kept current as a condition of continued employmentDemonstrates positive behavior, attitude, and commitment as documented by supervising physician, patient satisfaction surveys, and feedback from other personnelDemonstrates positive teamwork, cooperative efforts, prompt and attentive service to patients and colleaguesMaintains patient confidentialityCompensation is based on experience levelThe pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for this position. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
