Our business strategy leverages world-class technologies, motivated and talented people, and high-quality products.Our Mission Is To Make People's Lives Better ByDelivering outstanding quality products and services to our customersProviding meaningful opportunity, job satisfaction, and job security for our peopleBeing positive contributors to our communities andProviding superior long-term investment returns to our stakeholdersOur strength is our peopleWe invite you to follow your dreams and explore a challenging and rewarding career at Martinrea.Job Summary: Supports production teams by optimizing processes, improving quality, and assisting with equipment layout or troubleshooting.Major AccountabilitiesProcess Improvement: Assist in identifying bottlenecks, improving workflow efficiency, and implementing Lean or Six Sigma initiatives.Documentation & Standards: Update standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, and PFMEAs.Production Support: Troubleshoot equipment, support new product launches, and assist with assembly line setups.Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.Tools & Layout: Assist with CAD design for fixtures, tooling, or plant layout changesQualificationEducation: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge: Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, 5S, and Lean concepts is often preferredHealth & SafetyMust work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and proceduresMust use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the CompanyJob Type - Intern
