Senior Legal Associate

Our client, a major oil/gas company, is actively looking for a Legal Associate to join their team! This is a fully remote position, however candidates must be located in the US.*** This begins as a 6 month contract with an opportunity to extend or convert at any time ***Important: This role does not require an attorney or bar admission. We are seeking professionals who strongly match the contract drafting, document execution, and transformation support skills outlined below.Key Responsibilities & Required Skill SetCandidates should have strong, hands‑on experience with:Drafting and finalizing complex legal and commercial documents (execution‑ready)Producing long‑form agreements with schedules, annexes, amendments, and renewalsTranslating agreed commercial inputs into precise legal language (without reinterpretation)Contract hygiene: definitions, clause logic, numbering, cross‑references, formattingManaging redlines, version control, and iterative stakeholder feedbackIdentifying drafting gaps or inconsistencies and proactively flagging issuesSupporting multiple parallel drafting workstreams under tight timelinesCoordinating with legal, business, franchise, and SME stakeholdersOperating within large programs or transformation initiativesBasic project management across drafting deliverables and dependencies
