Order Entry Representative
What You'll Actually DoThis is not a call center role. You will own the customer order process from start to finish-from receiving orders to ensuring they are scheduled, shipped, and delivered accurately.You'll be the point person making sure customer orders move, not just answering questions.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and enter customer orders accurately into the system (high volume, detail-critical)Communicate directly with customers on:Order statusPricing and availabilityShipping timelines and delaysCoordinate with internal teams (warehouse, production, shipping) to ensure orders are fulfilled on timeExpedite urgent orders and resolve issues that could delay deliveryInvestigate and resolve order discrepancies, shortages, and customer concernsTrack and manage multiple orders at different stages-nothing falls through the cracks on your watchWhat We're Looking ForExperience processing customer orders, not just answering phonesComfortable working in a system/ERP (order entry, tracking, updates)Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities at onceStrong attention to detail-accuracy matters hereProven ability to communicate clearly with both customers and internal teamsWhat Will Make You Stand OutExperience in manufacturing, distribution, or order-driven environmentsBackground in inside sales, order management, or sales supportExperience handling pricing, scheduling, or expediting ordersComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environmentEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED equivalent QUALIFICATIONSBasic Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be self-directed while performing daily duties Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and make responsible decisions in a fast-paced environmentDue to the business necessity of communication, safety and production, candidates must be able to speak, read and write English
