Apparel Production Coordinator (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Apparel Production Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers’ needs are met from the initial sample creation to final product delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of production, maintaining quality control across all departments, and directly handling customer interactions to ensure satisfaction. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, managing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the production process.
Coordinate the creation of samples, ensuring they meet the customer’s specifications and standards.
Partner with the Assistants to track, unpack, distribute samples and approvals throughout development process which includes support with all TOP check-ins
Manage WIP reports on a weekly basis in conjunction with production / sourcing team, for all goods on order from production status through final delivery into our warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
Interact with cross functional team such as Design, purchasing, warehouse, Merchandising, and Transportation/Logistics
Actively participate in weekly production meetings with cross functional team members
Daily communication with all vendors as needed.
Set up vendor sheets, cost sheets for final review / approvals by sourcing team.
Assist with filing and maintaining fabric and trim binders
Assist with the factory costing and update cost for Products.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in production coordination or a similar role within the apparel manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of garment production processes, including fabric creation, cutting, sewing, printing, and embroidery.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in production management software and tools.
