The Heart Rhythm Institute operates across multiple campuses including a teaching hospital with over 200 residents and 30 fellows, providing high-acuity patient care in Level I and Level III Trauma Centers. Opportunity: ACLS,BLS,PALS,DEA - Cardiology Electrophysiologist This is a full-time, leadership-track opportunity for a Board-Certified Cardiology Electrophysiologist to join the Heart Rhythm Institute. The position offers a high-volume practice with built-in referrals, advanced procedural support, teaching opportunities, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Job Details:* Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiac electrophysiology services at two hospital locations * Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with shared on-call coverage (2:1 ratio) * Travel between Detroit and Warren locations as needed * Perform procedures including pacemaker and defibrillator implants, as well as right- and left-sided ablations * Participate in inpatient rounding during call weeks at multiple hospitals; APP independently rounds at one location * Build and manage a patient panel with strong internal referral streams and high existing volume * Collaborate closely with an experienced EP cardiologist, APRN, cardiovascular thoracic surgeons, and a skilled support team * Engage in medical education and mentoring in a teaching hospital environment * Use Cerner EMR (transitioning to Epic in late 2025/early 2026) * Shared call and weekend responsibilities * Must be Board Certified in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology * Completion of accredited Cardiology and Electrophysiology Fellowships required * Minimum 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience preferred * Must hold or be eligible for Michigan Medical LicenseCompensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
