The Grill Cook grills a variety of foods in many different ways. He/She has special training and/or experience in the art of cooking so as to prepare and cook beef and other types of meat to each customer's exact specifications, poultry, or fish while simultaneously maintaining full control of the grill station. In addition to preparing grilled foods, The Grill Cook is also required to fry sides, poultry and fish dishes as part of their duties. He/she is responsible for preparing other products, which will involve cutting and lifting products in cases as well as assembling, measuring, portioning and restocking. The ideal Grill Cook candidate has a minimum of one year training and/or experience in the art and is responsible to:Prepare all products to Fuddruckers specifications, following freshness standards, temperatures and hold times as directed by company, local, state and federal guidelinesKeep open communication with other Cooks and the Expeditor to meet Guest needsMonitor ticket times to ensure Guests receive their order in accordance to Fuddruckers ticket time standardsPractice, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures according to policy and health/sanitation regulationsManage and maintain a safe working conditionMaintain fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensure products are consistent with quality standardsProfessional appearance required (see uniform standards)Problem solver that has the ability to adapt and overcomeAbility to multitaskMust be a team player with a high since of urgencyAbility to cross train in other areas as neededFollow all Grill – Job Responsibilities as listedOther tasks deemed necessary by managementActivities include, but are not limited to, walking or standing for 6 to 8 hours at a time, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying, talking, and sittingDuties involve the coordination of manual and visual dexterityFuddruckers is a restaurant aimed at creating the world's best hamburgers.
