What is needed: Psychotherapist (ages 13 and up):
We are currently seeking an experienced licensed therapist (LPCMH, LCSW, or LMFT) to join our team as an Independent Contractor, who is highly motivated, inquisitive, professional, and demonstrates passion about their work. Experience in working with children, adolescents and families using a trauma-informed approach is preferred.
Job Summary:

LAMHC will be considered based on experience
Experience in trauma-informed treatment modalities (i.e. EMDR, EST, TF-CBT, Drama Therapy, Mindfulness, IFS, or DBT)
Working with individuals, couples, and families.
Strong documentation skills
Excellent interpersonal, intrapersonal, and communication skills
Ability to work one to two evenings per week

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
At least a master’s in clinical counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field of study.
A DE state license to practice independently (LCSW, LPCMH, or LMFT)
Excellent interpersonal, intrapersonal, and communication skills.
Experienced in evidenced-based trauma informed treatment modalities.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Able to complete progress notes and HIPAA compliant documentation.
Able to learn and navigate electronic health records (EHR).
Able to work collaboratively with co-workers in a team-oriented approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide trauma-informed outpatient psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, or families.
Guide clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their problems.
Incorporate a mind-body approach to promote holistic healing and trauma informed care.
Counsel family members as necessary (and when approved by clients), to assist them in understanding, dealing with, or supporting clients.
Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, or standardize measures.
Complete safety assessments with patients to determine risk of suicide attempts, self-harm, or danger to others.
Perform crisis interventions with clients to help ensure the safety of the patients and others.
Evaluate clients’ physical or mental condition, based on the review of the client information, determine appropriate clinical and wellness recommendations for treatment.
Modify treatment activities or approaches as needed to comply with changes in clients' status.
Fill out and maintain client-related paperwork, including federal- and state-mandated forms, client diagnostic records, initial assessments, treatment plan reviews, and progress notes.
Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment.
Maintain ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and practice within the scope of acquired education and training.
Collaborate with mental health professionals and other staff members to perform clinical assessments or develop treatment plans.
Learn about new developments in counseling by reading professional literature, attending courses and seminars, or establishing and maintaining contact with other social service agencies.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
