Job Description Job Title: Medical Assistant – Pediatric PracticeJob Type: Full-Time | Temporary-to-PermanentPay Rate: $14.60 – $16.10 per hour (based on experience)Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in our pediatric practice. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where strong communication skills and attention to detail are of vital importance. The Medical Assistant will interact closely with patients and families to ensure accurate information gathering and efficient visit flow. Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Clinical SupportRoom patients and gather medical histories related to the child’s visitTake and document vital signsPerform medication reconciliation and update records accordinglyChart patient information accurately and thoroughly in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)Develop positive, professional relationships with patients and familiesAssist providers during patient visits as neededSupport efficient clinical workflow in a high-paced environmentLaboratory SupportAssist in the in-office lab as neededPerform phlebotomy when required (phlebotomy experience preferred)Important Role ClarificationsThis position does not have primary responsibility for answering phones or scheduling appointmentsEKGs are not performed in this officeStrong communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for success in this roleExperience in Pediatrics strongly preferredCompany DescriptionAbout Long's Human Resource ServicesAt Long’s, our people are our greatest asset.
