We are looking for team members who are ready to be empowered to go above and beyond.Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Restaurant ManagerThe Multi-Venue Food Runner is responsible for delivering food quickly, accurately, and professionally across multiple dining and bar venues, including a martini lounge, rooftop bar, and pool service areas. This role is critical in maintaining service flow, supporting both front-of-house and kitchen teams, and ensuring food is presented and delivered at the highest standard.Food Runners must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptablecapable of operating in both elevated dining environments and high-volume, casual settings. Success in this role requires strong communication, urgency, and the ability to navigate different service styles and physical layouts.Key ResponsibilitiesFood Delivery & AccuracyDeliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately, ensuring proper table and seat placementConfirm orders before leaving the kitchen to ensure accuracy and completenessAnnounce dishes clearly and confidently, using proper menu terminologyEnsure all food meets presentation standards before deliveryService Support & FlowAct as the primary link between kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth service flowCommunicate proactively with chefs, expo, servers, and bartenders regarding timing and order statusAssist in pacing courses during elevated service periodsSupport clearing, resetting, and maintaining table readiness when neededMulti-Venue AdaptabilityOperate across multiple outlets including lounge, rooftop, and pool environmentsAdjust delivery style and pace based on venue (refined vs. high-volume casual)Navigate indoor and outdoor spaces efficiently, including high-traffic and weather-exposed areasSupport large parties, events, and high-volume service periodsOperational AwarenessMaintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, expo areas, and running pathsEnsure trays, plateware, and service tools are properly stocked and readyAssist with side work, setup, and breakdown across venuesFollow all food safety and handling guidelinesTeam CollaborationWork closely with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and leadership to ensure seamless serviceCommunicate clearly and professionally in a fast-paced environmentSupport team needs proactively to ensure overall operational successMaintain a positive, high-energy, and team-focused attitudeQualificationsQualifications & RequirementsPrevious food runner or restaurant experience preferred but not requiredStrong sense of urgency and attention to detailAbility to multitask and stay organized in fast-paced environmentsStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to carry multiple plates and use trays safely and efficientlyAbility to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbsFlexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special eventsCertificationsValid Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)Work EnvironmentMulti-venue operation including martini lounge, rooftop bar, and pool service areasCombination of indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to weather conditionsFast-paced settings ranging from elevated dining to high-volume, casual serviceSchedule variability based on business levels, seasonality, and special events
