Supplier Development Program Manager

We offer a competitive salary for this role, with an expected range of $101,000 - $135,000/yr. The final offer will depend on your experience, skills, and overall qualifications. This will include comprehensive on-site presence at suppliers for periods of time. Position plays a key role ensuring the supply base remains robust and resilient to disruptions.Key ResponsibilitiesSafety LeadershipEnsures safe workplace conditions and compliance with company safety standardsProject ExecutionDeveloping and executing strategies to optimize supplier relationships, reduce risks, and improve on-time supplier deliveryMonitor supplier performance, conducting regular reviews (Line of Balance tracking), and overseeing improvement plansWorking with suppliers during new product development to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and capability readinessEnsuring suppliers have quality management systems that meet quality standards and include quality control plansTeam Collaboration and CommunicationBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and collaborationProviding training and support to suppliers to enhance their capabilityContinuous ImprovementIdentifying and addressing weaknesses in supplier processesBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience 7-10 years’ experience in a relevant function; operations / manufacturing experience requiredStrong working knowledge and background with manufacturing and industrial processes (i.e. Machining, forging/casting, large machinery)Demonstrated ability to implement and mange lean manufacturing initiatives, including production flow optimization, defect reduction, and cycle time improvementStrong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teamsKnowledge of supply chain management principles including lean manufacturing, six sigma, and quality control methodsKnowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent Quality Management System standardsAnalytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues in supplier processesMust be able to possess strong planning, execution and multitasking skills and have demonstrated ability to reprioritize on the flyWorks with the highest level of integrity, ethics and safetyOperates under minimal direction and exercises moderate to independent judgementProficiency with MS Office 365 toolsProfessional demeanor and presentation skills for frequent customer meetings and presentations
