We are actively recruiting for team members to join us on our VIA project.Job ResponsibilitiesTransports materials by driving vehicles and trucks on, to or from construction sites.Operate company trucks in compliance with DOT and CDL regulationsSafely haul materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sitesPerform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checksSecure loads properly and ensure compliance with load securement requirementsTransport materials such as aggregate, asphalt, fuel, or water as requiredCommunicate effectively with supervisors, and field crewsWork safely in active roadway construction zones and traffic-controlled areasTransports construction materials using vehicles and trucks.Maintains knowledge of Company's values and strategic plan.Performs additional assignments per management's direction.QualificationsValid CDL (Class A or B, as applicable)Experience hauling or moving heavy equipment between job sitesAbility to properly tie down and secure equipment per standardsWorking knowledge of CDL rules and DOT regulationsAbility to hold or obtain Tanker and/or Hazmat endorsementsGeneral knowledge of heavy civil construction equipment and operationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience with construction equipment preferred.BenefitsSome of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off programIndustry leading 401(k)/RRSPMedical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial MedicalWellness benefits & Employee Assistance ProgramTuition Reimbursement ProgramWe are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.SalaryUSD $21.00/Hr. to USD $26.00/Hr.
