Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.As a Platform IAC Engineer II, you will be supporting the development and maintenance of our modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution in our environment. These environments, a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.The Platform IAC Engineer II will be well versed in maintaining COTS/FOSS products and use of tools such as LDAP, RHEL, Tenable, Consul, Ansible, Terraform to implement and support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution for our programs.Note This position is based in Richardson TX. and work will be performed at the onsite Facility requiring occasional travel to the customer site for upgrade and implementation activities as necessary.What You Will DoYou will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of IAC solutionsYou will support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs utilizing Ansible PlaybooksYou will assist with integration of the selected platform Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker)You will assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises or virtualized / Cloud based computing environmentsYou will assist engineers with specialized tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the solutionQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and a minimum 2 years of related work experienceExperience with Integration, Cloud, Containerization, Infrastructure/Platform as a Service, Linux Development, MicroservicesExperience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+)Experience with Ansible automation frameworksA current TS/SCI Security Clearance, with a CI Poly is required day 1. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
