Service Team LeadLOLO Hospitality @ Tallgrass Tap House Position: Service Team Lead Job Classification: Full Time, Non-Exempt Reports To: Tallgrass Tap House Assistant General ManagerSummary of Role: The Service Lead oversees daily service-related execution. It monitors, coaches and improves the performance and success of the service team. This role includes oversight of and involvement in: team leading, service execution, guest experience, cleanliness, and company policy adherence. The primary goal of this role is to create memorable guest experiences to help advance the team reputation, through coaching and accountability of service team members.Work Schedule: 35-40 hours per week; will vary based on business volume. Evening and weekend shifts required.What's in it for You:Hourly pay within pay range of $20 - $25 per hourHealth and Dental Insurance offered, with company sharePaid Time OffShort Term Disability InsuranceLife InsuranceHoliday Pay for company observed holidays50% discount at all company locationsEligible for Employee Referral Bonus ProgramEligible for Employee Shift Meal BenefitMentor-guided career & personal development opportunity, via our 1-1 programPotential for access to industry related certificationsCompany sponsored gatherings and eventsKey Responsibilities:Primary focus is in-shift success of Front of House teamResponsible for training, knowledge and guest delivery execution during each scheduled shiftComplete all managerial tasks that occur in-shift, including but not limited to: putting away liquor orders, reconciling cash drawers, checking out servers, submitting liquor orders, etcResponsible for reconciling all guest complaints and service failures that occur in-shiftResponsible for performance and success of entire team working on your shiftsResponsible for restaurant being opened and/or closed properly each day through training and verificationResponsible for cleanliness of restaurant while on shiftHas in-shift oversight of reservation book, special occasions and large partiesMaintain labor dollar goals set by General Manager by cutting staff appropriatelyCommunicate professionally & efficiently with guests and colleaguesPerform other duties as dictated by business need & directed by AGM, GM, Exec Chef, or Managing PartnersWhat We Need From You:Leadership and team management experience preferredAbility to communicate in and understand the English languageA passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for others.Effective verbal and written communication skillsAbility and willingness to move quickly, efficiently and safely through the restaurantStrong work ethic to execute demanding mental and physical work under pressurePositive attitude that remains consistent under pressurePhysical Demands:Ability to be on your feet, walking and standing up to 8 hoursAbility to climb stairs multiple times during a shiftAbility to reach & lift above the head as neededAbility to lift, balance and move items up to 30 lbs. (Primarily this will be large food trays)Ability to squat, bend, and twist your body as neededAbility to function in a work environment that is, at times, hot, loud, in tight spaces with colleagues, contains wet and slippery surfacesAbility to effectively read, write, and verbally communicate in the English language
