Assistant Vice President of Operations - Transit Employees Federal Credit Union (TEFCU)
Key ResponsibilitiesMember Services & Branch OperationsOversee daily branch readiness, security, maintenance, and cash management.Supervise, train, and coach staff; set expectations and monitor performance.Ensure accurate processing and balancing of all transactions.Deliver and support full-service member assistance (accounts, transactions, inquiries, digital banking).Promote products and services; support member education and cross-selling.Conduct meetings, audits, reporting, and quality control reviews.Maintain compliance with policies, regulations, and documentation standards.Collaborate with departments, support audits/exams, and manage branch reporting.Handle escalated member issues and maintain strong member relationships.LendingOriginate and process loans, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.Interview applicants, explain options, and recommend appropriate products.Approve, deny, or escalate loans within authority limits.Maintain loan documentation and perform servicing tasks (adjustments, payoffs, updates).Monitor reports and ensure adherence to lending policies and regulatory requirements.Operations & StrategyManage budgets and improve operational efficiency.Support branch development, projects, and vendor coordination.Identify process improvements and implement new products/services.Assist with marketing initiatives, communications, and branding efforts.Ensure all materials and systems reflect current policies and offerings.
