Industrial Maintenance Technician (Nights)
Night Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PMShift differential: $1.25/hrRequired Plant Checks Every Other WeekendIn this role, you’ll be a key part of keeping our facility running safely and efficiently. You’ll work hands-on with a variety of equipment and systems to ensure everything from machinery to building infrastructure stays in top working condition.Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, and facility structures following safety and company standardsPerform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and calibration on equipment across the facility and surrounding groundsSupport automated systems by maintaining and testing components such as sensors, switches, and control devicesComplete basic inspections and repairs on refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2 depending on site)Perform preventative maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure safe and reliable operationAccurately document maintenance work, inspections, and equipment status, and communicate updates to leadership dailySupport additional maintenance tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothlyAdditional Hands-On WorkUse power tools, welding equipment, and cutting tools to repair or fabricate metal componentsOperate lifts and other mobile equipment to safely access and maintain machinery and facility systemsWhat We’re Looking ForAt least 1 year of maintenance experience or a combination of experience and trade school in building maintenance, material handling equipment, or refrigeration systems (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2)Ability to perform preventative maintenance with minimal supervision once trainedComfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipmentBasic computer skills for documentation and reportingStrong communication skills and ability to work with teammates and leadership at all levelsStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentWork Environment & Physical RequirementsComfortable working in temperature-controlled environments, including cold storage (down to -20°F) and warmer dry storage areas (up to 100°F), with proper PPE providedAble to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (and occasionally more depending on the facility)Flexible availability, including occasional weekends or adjusted shifts as neededSome locations may include higher noise levels or working at heights, with proper training and safety equipment providedWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
