The CAD Technician II produces advanced CAD drawings with minimal supervision and supports coordination across multiple project stakeholders. This role requires increased technical proficiency, strong project ownership, and the ability to quickly pivot between priorities to support workload balancing across regions and the broader CAD organization.RESPONSIBILITIES:Independently produce, modify, and review detailed CAD drawings from engineered designs and specificationsEnsure drawings comply with CAD standards, specifications, and project requirements prior to releaseCoordinate with engineers, project managers, and sales teams to resolve design conflictsConvert conceptual and preliminary designs into construction and installation documentsManage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlinesMentor and provide technical guidance to CAD Technician I staffMaintain accurate drawing files, documentation, and version controlTrack and allocate time accurately across projectsQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of three (3) years of progressive CAD experienceMinimum of one (1) year of REVIT experienceAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD across multiple versionsStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsProficiency with common business and documentation tools, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, email, messaging platforms, and PDF review/editing softwarePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):Associate Degree or technical trainingExperience with low‐voltage security systemsExposure to Revit or 3D modeling toolsBENEFITS:Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hourMedical, dental, vision, retirement plan, basic life, AD&D, and disability insuranceEight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal daysVacation time is offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly.
