Process Engineer

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
You will support the growth of a medical device company developing neurovascular stroke therapies. You will be a part of the Production team working on device manufacturing and inspection.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Set-up and operate production equipment.
Perform daily line cleaning and organizing tasks.
Document manufacturing procedures on company-issued work orders for lot traceability.
Develop the hand-skills and process knowledge to build development devices.
Build and train a production team.
Provide hands-on support for manufacturing technique improvements.
Support engineering activities and process validation studies.
Support engineering needs to achieve company goals, as required.
SKILLS / PRE-REQUISITIES
Engineering degree in mechanical, manufacturing, materials, chemical.
Minimum three years of experience in an engineering industry/ISO system.
Knowledge, familiarity, and comfort working in a clean lab environment.
Ability to read and understand manufacturing procedures, component drawings, and carry out work order instructions.
Familiarity with precision measurement tools: microscopes, calipers, snap gauges, rulers, etc.
Knowledge and comfort working within an engineering quality system.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, light lifting, travel by air/rail/auto, ability to work in controlled clinical and laboratory environments.
